Facebook Messenger gains holiday content, new Stickered for Messenger app coming soon to iOS

Christmas is around the corner and to help us celebrate the upcoming festivities Facebook has issued a nice little holiday-themed update to its Messenger mobile app Friday.

For starters, you can download several holiday-inspired sticker packs through Messenger for the iPhone and iPad or take advantage of a new festive frame to spruce up your holiday selfies.

Apple Maps 3D coverage continues with new locations in France, Sweden and Netherlands

After introducing nine new markets to its three-dimensional Flyover view in its in-house mapping service earlier this month, Apple has now brought 3D aerial imagery along with virtual city tours to three new locations across Europe.

Now I’m not sure if you folks have noticed, but we’re currently hurtling towards Christmas. It’s not so much crept up on us as jumped out from behind a pillar, pulled a funny face and shouted “oogabooga” at the top of its lungs. Christmas is just around the corner, and it’s time to get those gifts sorted out.
