The oft-reliable John Paczkowski of Re/code reports this afternoon that Apple is slated to announce its first wearable device in October. While noting that things can certainly change between now and the fall, Paczkowski claims that October is the tentative date that Apple has set to make its first splash into wearables.
Apple is expected to host a special event at some point during the month to show off its first wearable device, which will reportedly make good use of the HealthKit health and fitness platform unveiled at the WWDC keynote on Monday.... Read the rest of this post here
