CarPlay support added to MLB At Bat iPhone app

There’s one more app joining Apple’s small list of road-ready services for the car today as MLB.com’s At Bat app has been updated with CarPlay support.

MLB At Bat version 8.2 adds its own CarPlay interface for iPhone users with supported in-dash receivers in the car. The baseball-focused app follows recent audiobook service additions from Auidobooks.com and Audible while iOS 8.4 will add audiobooks from iBooks.

MLB At Bat has long been listed as a supported CarPlay app on Apple’s website, but today’s update is the first version to actually put MLB At Bat on the CarPlay home screen. MLB At Bat is available as a free app on the App Store with At Bat Premium available as a in-app subscription purchase. Here’s the full change log of the latest version:

• Share video highlights directly from the media player interface
