Samsung looks for any possible advantages in new pair of ads bashing the iPhone 6

Samsung today has shared two new ads for its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge flagships and in typical Samsung fashion, both of the ads take multiple disses at the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The first ad features the Galaxy S6 Edge and focuses on how the curved display of the device is “useful.” Samsung touts that the S6 Edge lights up on the side when someone calls, while the iPhone 6 simply vibrates. Because a strobing light is definitely more useful than a vibration…

The ad also mentions how the side of the Galaxy S6 Edge is useful for viewing notifications and other content, while the side of the iPhone 6 is simply home to the volume buttons and mute switch.

The next ad focuses on the wireless charging capabilities of the Galaxy S6 variants, as well as their wide-angle front-facing cameras. Regarding the wide-angle front-facing camera, Samsung points out that the Galaxy S6 is able to fit everyone into selfies, while the iPhone 6 cuts people.

Both of the ads end with Samsung claiming that “6 is greater than 6″ and that “not all smartphones are created equal.” This isn’t the first time Samsung has released ads that take direct shots at Apple. In the past, Samsung has criticized the iPhone’s display and battery life in ads, as well as the iPad.  When the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were announced, Samsung bragged that its devices had large screens long before the iPhone.
